Toki’s Song is a Human-AI collaboration project. I learned and demonstrated applied knowledge of designing with AI by co-developing a compelling story book with illustrations. From research to finishing the look of the book, the whole process was AI-collaborated. Through this project I envisioned possible Human-AI interaction approaches in the future.

Using a first-person account of the different emotional states that an orca whale experiences in captivity, we wanted to raise awareness and prompt reflection in the reader. We selected our target audience as 10-12 year-old readers since the story, on the surface, has a happy ending, but upon deeper reflection, it suggests an important theme.
